The plugin I used is http://wordpress.org/extend/pl... NextGEN Public Uploader. Within its admin you can set the gallery to wich you want the users to upload and you can also setup the message

Alex, I love the way you've organised your albums and galleries. Great job!

Like you, I want to allow other people to upload photos. I've checked out NextGen Gallery Uploader and may use that. But I see you've managed to add a description field to the upload form. Did you code that yourself or use a ready made plugin?

this just isn't working for me…. I can't create a gallery!

Directory wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/ didn't exist. Please create first the main gallery folder !

The Gallery page is generated well, but when you click on the Album link, it is not working well.
Believe me, I created each page and linked the album to the page. But in the Galllery page it is not working ok.

do you know a way, to comment a album or gallery? i f i use comments on the page, the comment belongs to alle the album/gallerys i have setup, but not the specific one. i need a way to let user put comments for a special album. hope you can help me.

People tend to use words like “album” and “gallery” as though everyone knows exactly what they mean and what their relationship is to each other. You did a great job of explaining what the words actually mean in the Nextgen context and of illuminating the confusing relationship of albums, galleries, and wordpress pages. Thanks a million!
