A Day Watching T.V. (Sorta)

I spent today catching up on a couple of my favorite television shows that recently had their series premieres.

Friday was the start of the final season of Battlestar Galatica.  Since I don’t have cable, I couldn’t catch it Friday night on the sci-fi channel.  Instead, I found it online today and watched the full episode this afternoon.  All I can say is WOWZA!  There was a very dramatic moment that I didn’t see coming at all; it left me in tears!  I can’t wait until the next episode.

I also caught up on 24.  Four episodes have already aired.  They showed the first two hours last Sunday and then the next two hours the next day.  Monday night will be 24’s regular time.  It’s weird for me for both T.V. shows and movies.  Even if it’s something I’m a fan of and would usually want to watch, I have to be in the right mood to watch.  I guess i just need to be in a frame of mind where I can focus and pay attention to one thing for at least 30 minutes or so; I don’t get in that mood often enough.

But anyway, 24 was great!  I really like seeing some of the regulars back even though they are now working out of Washington D.C. instead of their normal Los Angeles C.T.U. headquarters.  It’s still as riveting as ever and now I don’t have to wait an entire week for a new episode.

Let’s just hope I’m in the right “mood” to watch it.
